  • No, TrioClear™ is not a direct-to-consumer clear aligner solution. In order to use TrioClear™, we need a prescription that is prescribed by a licensed dentist.

However, clear aligners and other such appliances naturally pick up a lot of oral bacteria, and sterilization is needed before disposal. In order to dispose of the appliances properly, you may check the local Waste Disposal Ordinance since waste management varies in different countries.

  • It varies in different cases. In general, TrioClear™ treatment involves between 6 and 20 different sets of aligners in total.

  • Yes, hot temperatures may affect TrioClear™ aligner. it is not supposed to eat or drink anything with your aligners in (except room temperature water), since it may damage the function or even lead to chemical reactions or breakage of the aligners.

No matter what age you are, all patients have to wear retainers to prevent teeth from shifting back to their original positions. Retainers prevent exactly that from happening so you do not end up wasting any of the money and time spent on your orthodontic treatment.

  • Ecodont™ Retainers are clear retainer that you will wear after getting your teeth straightened, whether with TrioClear's treatment, traditional braces, or other conventional aligners. Regardless of how your teeth were aligned, Ecodont™ Retainers are built to retain your smile shine and straight from now and to the future.

  • It is recommended to brush your teeth and rinse the retainers after every meal. For more thorough maintenance, you can gently brush the retainers with a soft toothbrush, and lukewarm water or mild soap.

  • The duration will depend on a different case. You will wear the retainers for the period of time as recommended by your dentist. In general, most orthodontists or dentists will suggest you to wear retainers all day and night for at least 4-6 months following the TrioClear program or other orthodontic treatments. If no teeth movement is detected, you may be recommended to wear retainers only at night or around 15-18 hours during daytime, to maintain your beautiful smile.
